DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Epson Tour and OnCore Golf have announced a marketing partnership for the 2023 season, naming OnCore the Official Golf Ball of the LPGA’s Qualifying Tour. OnCore golf balls will be provided to players on the driving range throughout the 22-event season.
"To achieve the dream of qualifying for the LPGA requires intense practice and preparation as well as simulation of tournament conditions while practicing,” said the Epson Tour’s Chief Business and Operations Officer, Jody Brothers. “Having weekly access to a tour quality practice ball such as the one that OnCore is providing the Epson Tour will be a tremendous benefit to our athletes and we are thrilled to be partnering with OnCore for the 2023 season."
Entering its 43rd season, the Epson Tour serves as the official qualifying tour of the LPGA and prepares women from around the world for a successful career at the highest level of women’s golf. Both the Epson Tour and OnCore Golf are committed to growing the game and providing women on the tour with opportunities to pursue their dreams.
“We are very excited to be the official ball of the Epson Tour. OnCore was founded with a vision to make golf more enjoyable and accessible by offering innovative, high-performance products and technologies for players of all skill levels,” said Keith Blakely, Chairman and CEO of OnCore Golf Technology, Inc. “Over the past several years, we’ve developed great relationships with highly talented golfers of all ages and demographics and are proud of the caliber of golfers who have selected OnCore’s tour balls as their ball of choice. We could not be more impressed by the talent on the Epson Tour and look forward to working with the players and the exceptional leadership in the coming year.”
In addition to supplying the tour’s official golf ball, OnCore Golf representatives will support the Epson Tour athletes at various tournaments throughout the season. Players will be able to interact with the company and its representatives at the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic in Winter Haven, Florida to start the 2023 season.
Current OnCore Golf ambassadors include former Epson Tour professionals Anna DePalma and Armana Christianson. The company will also be looking for up-and-coming Epson Tour players to become OnCore brand ambassadors. The announcement of the partnership follows the reveal of the record-breaking 2023 schedule and the hiring of Jody Brothers, the Epson Tour’s Chief Business and Operations Officer.
