  • Where did you first learn the game of golf and who taught you?

I started playing after my brother played. I took a few lessons from local coaches to get started and fell in love with it.

  • When did you realize golf was something you wanted to pursue as a career?

I think I realized pretty early on that I loved playing and that if I could have the opportunity to pursue it, I would.

  • Who has been your biggest supporter throughout your career?

My biggest supporters have always been my family. I’ve also had a lot of support from countless people at golf clubs and companies. Being mentored by Johnny Miller and Mickey Wright was also huge for me.

  • How does playing on the Epson Tour help you prepare for the LPGA Tour?

Professional golf can be a big adjustment, and playing a couple of years in the Epson Tour has taught me a lot about myself and what it takes to be on the LPGA Tour.

  • What is the biggest obstacle you have overcome that helped you become the person you are today?

Honestly, I’m lucky to have had a very fortunate upbringing and excellent family support. Life has its ups and downs, and I think it’s important to always go back to your core values.

  • What advice would you give to the next generation of girls in sports and/or in life?

To follow your heart and your dreams, and always be yourself!
