  • Where did you first learn the game of golf and who taught you?

My dad. I saw golf a lot when I was young because my dad loved golf, which made me interested in playing golf.

  • When did you realize golf was something you wanted to pursue as a career?

I enjoyed it when I was young, but when I got on the National team, something that I succeeded in and achieved goal made me very feel special, and it was a turning point in my mindset about golf.

  • Who has been your biggest supporter throughout your career?

My family. My entire family has been sacrificing for me. Especially my dad has been a huge mental support.

  • How does playing on the Epson Tour help you prepare for the LPGA Tour?

It was my first year as a professional. So basically didn’t know about scheduling, making relationships on tour, or even rankings. But, in the end, I learned how to manage tournaments and pro-am. I’m so grateful to have had that experience.

  • What is the biggest obstacle you have overcome that helped you become the person you are today?

The most significant thing was driving by myself for 75 hours for three weeks. Because of my age, I couldn’t rent a car and didn’t even know many people on tour. That was tough, for sure, and that helped me to be more independent and stay strong.

  • What advice would you give to the next generation of girls in sports and/or in life?

I would love to say enjoy it. Every experience is precious and hard to have it. So accept it and enjoy things.
