My dad introduced me to golf back at home (Sydney, Australia), and looking back now; I don't know what I would be doing if it wasn't for this sport!
When I won my age group at a junior tournament when I was around 14 years old, I started to realize the taste of winning! It took me a while since I started to grow the heart to play this sport.
My parents have helped me from the beginning, so I will forever be grateful for their hard work and determination in getting me this far. Hopefully, I can now keep trending to make them forever proud!
I think you face obstacles daily; for me, it's mental. You face so many things in your day-to-day life, and golf is a sport you can play well after your career ends whenever you want. Playing professional golf can take a toll on you mentally. Dealing with pressure and learning how to not only change my perspective on life but being able to accept and manage those thoughts throughout this season has gotten me this far today.
Give it your absolute best in all that you do. Everything that happens; happens for you. Commit, accept and move on!
