Wallace started playing golf at the early age of three. When Wallace isn't on the course you can find her watching hockey (specifically the Vancouver Canucks).

Amateur Career:
- Two-time BC Junior Girls Champion.
- Winner of the AJGA Thunderbird International.
- Two-time First-Team West Coast Conference selection while playing at Pepperdine University.
- Transferred to the University of Colorado and won the 2010 CU Heather Farr while playing for the Buffaloes.
- Named 2011 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.
- Selected to the 2011 All-Big 12 First Team.
- Four-time NGCA All-American Scholar (2009-2011).
