Juliana Hung, Annabelle Pancake-Webb and Gile Bite Starkute share the lead at Highland Meadows Golf Club following opening-round action of the Greater Toledo Classic after each fired a 5-under 66.

The trio leads the 144-player field after hazardous air quality forced the postponement of play on Friday, reducing the tournament to a 36-hole event.

Hung tied her lowest round of the 2026 season Saturday, making eight birdies to finish at 5-under. Opening on hole No. 10, the 24-year-old dropped as low as 7-under before tallying three consecutive birdies on holes four through six. Despite a pair of late bogeys, Hung credited her success to focusing on the process rather than the score.

"Everything just kind of worked pretty well together," said Hung. "I wasn't worrying about not playing well, which is something I'd been doing for a while. Today I just focused on the process and didn't worry about the score, and it worked out pretty well."

Pancake-Webb also shined from the morning wave with a bogey-free first round. The 24-year-old, who sits fifth in the Race for the Card standings, closed with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 8 and 9 and rolled in a 30-foot birdie putt on hole No. 3. Despite the disrupted schedule, Pancake-Webb never let the postponement change her approach.

"It was hard to keep the momentum because of yesterday. It's just been weird what we've been experiencing," said Pancake-Webb. "My dad told me last night that just because I hadn't practiced like I normally do over the last two days, nothing had changed because everyone had to go through it. I just tried to keep my mindset consistent, knowing you can't lose it in a day, and went out there trying to beat the golf course."

Bite Starkute surged out of the afternoon wave, rebounding from an opening bogey by draining six birdies and finished bogey-free over her final 17 holes. The 25-year-old battled windy conditions for much of the round, but remained steady, capping her round with a birdie on No. 17 to earn a share of the lead.

“I saw this morning that the wind was going to pick up,” said Bite Starkute. “But when you have a strategy and you know your distances, you just have to focus on that and not let the wind get you out of your rhythm. It wasn't easy.

“The wind was swirling in the trees, and there were a couple of holes where I had no idea what direction it was going. The wind was definitely out there, but the greens were receptive, so I think that helped a lot.”

One shot back at 4-under are Lauryn Nguyen, Megan Schofill and Mariel Galdiano, with Nguyen posting one of six bogey-free rounds on Saturday.

Other notables included Laetitia Beck, who carded a 1-under 71 in her first Epson Tour start of the season after making 11 LPGA Tour starts in 2026, and 2025 Greater Toledo Classic Champion, Mia Hammond (a) (i), who signed for a 2-over par in round one.

Rylee Suttor also provided one of the day's biggest highlights, recording a hole-in-one on the 162-yard, par-3 14th hole. The ace was the first of Suttor's career in tournament competition and led an opening-round 1-over 72.

“My 6-iron usually flies about 156, so I just hit it and thought I'd give it a chance to get up there and roll because the greens are a little firm,” said Suttor. “It hit right in front of the pin and rolled in. I was like, ‘No way.’ That was pretty cool.”
