2025 Champion Erika Hara Now an LPGA Rookie

Defending champion Erika Hara will not be back to defend her title, as she has moved on to the LPGA Tour for the 2026 season. Hara claimed her first career Epson Tour title at Wildhorse in 2025, closing at 18-under to win by three strokes over Sabrina Iqbal, a victory that helped her lock up her 2026 LPGA Tour card early through the season-long Race for the Card. In her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, Hara has posted a pair of ninth-place finishes, at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba and the Mizuho Americas Open and recorded a tie for 38th at the Chevron Championship, her best major finish to date. She remained in contention as recently as mid-August, closing with three straight birdies at The Standard Portland Classic to move up the leaderboard.
