The Epson Tour heads to El Dorado, Arkansas, for the 11th annual Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout, set for September 18-20 at Mystic Creek Golf Club. The tournament features one of the largest purses on tour at $300,000 and is the only Epson Tour stop in the four-state region of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

Pro-Am Week Kicks Off the Action

Tournament week is about more than just competitive golf. The Pro-Am Tournament runs Wednesday and Thursday, September 16-17, from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., pairing sponsors and community members with Epson Tour professionals for a round at Mystic Creek. Wednesday evening brings the invitation-only Sponsor Night, giving partners a chance to celebrate with the athletes before championship play begins Friday. Tournament week also includes a Junior Golf Clinic and a Meet the Pros event, giving the El Dorado community multiple ways to connect with the field before round one tees off.

The Penultimate Stop of the Season

With the Guardian Championship in the books, the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout is the second-to-last event before the Tour heads to Indian Wells for the season-ending Epson Tour Championship in October. Every player in the field is playing with the Race for the Card in mind — the top 15 finishers on the season-long points list earn their LPGA Tour cards for 2027, making this week a pivotal data point before the final push.

A Star-Studded Field

The current top five in the 2026 Race for the Card — Mirabel Ting, Lauren Olivares, Kaleiya Romero, Carla Bernat Escuder, and Annabelle Pancake-Webb— are all entered this week. A little further down the list, Liqi Zeng returns to the site of a near-miss, having tied for second alongside Rachel Kuehn and Kaleigh Telfer in 2025, one shot behind champion Erica Shepherd, who closed with four birdies — including a clutch putt on 18 — to capture her first professional title.

Arkansas Ties Run Deep in the Field

Five former University of Arkansas Razorbacks tee it up this week: Julia Gregg, Maria Fassi, Kendall Todd, Reagan Zibilski and Kajal Mistry all played collegiately in Fayetteville, giving the tournament a built-in home-state following.
