With valuable Race for the Card points on the line and a course that has crowned some of the game's greatest champions, the Greater Toledo Classic continues the region’s rich legacy of professional women's golf while showcasing the next generation of LPGA stars.

Here are some names to watch as the season continues:

Anne Chen

Anne Chen returns to Highland Meadows Golf Club, currently riding one of the hottest streaks on the Epson Tour and is looking to build off a strong performance at last year's Greater Toledo Classic, where she finished in a tie for sixth. The 24-year-old has recorded back-to-back top-10 finishes, tying for sixth at the Island Resort Championship presented by Delta County Chamber, after a record-setting 10-under final round, and tying for 10th at the Four Winds Invitational.

A Duke University graduate, Chen enjoyed a breakout 2025 season on the Epson Tour, making eight cuts in 12 starts and finishing 11th in the Race for the Card to earn LPGA Tour membership. She capped the year with five top-10 finishes, highlighted by her victory at the 2025 Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells. With recent momentum and proven success at Highland Meadows Golf Club, Chen enters the week as one of the top contenders in the field.

Kary Hollenbaugh

Kary Hollenbaugh, a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, is a local standout to watch this week at the Greater Toledo Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club. The New Albany, Ohio, native earned her place in the field after finishing fifth in the 2026 LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP), a program designed to help elite collegiate golfers transition to the professional ranks.

One of the most accomplished players in Ohio State history, the 22-year-old capped her collegiate career as a 2025 Golfweek First Team All-American and WGCA Second Team All-American after collecting five individual victories, including four during the 2024-25 season to tie the Buckeyes' single-season record. She graduated with the second-lowest career scoring average in program history (72.64) and a school-record 58 rounds of par or better while also qualifying for the 2024 U.S. Women's Open, competing twice in the Augusta National Women's Amateur and earning a spot on the 2026 U.S. Curtis Cup Team.

Now making the transition to the professional ranks, Hollenbaugh arrives in Sylvania with momentum after recording a tie for fourth at the Four Winds Invitational. Playing in her home state, she'll look to build on that breakthrough performance as she continues her journey on the Epson Tour.

Megan Schofill

Megan Schofill returns to Highland Meadows Golf Club after finishing fifth at the 2025 Greater Toledo Classic, carding rounds of 69-67-67 to finish just two shots behind champion Mia Hammond. The 25-year-old enters this week's event in strong form, currently ninth in the Race for the Card after making nine cuts in 11 starts this season. Her campaign has been highlighted by a victory at the Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic and a tie for eighth at the IOA Golf Classic.

Schofill narrowly missed earning LPGA Tour status in 2025, finishing 16th in the Race for the Card after making 14 cuts in 17 starts and recording three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the IOA Championship. Before turning professional, the Auburn University standout built one of the country's most accomplished amateur résumés, capturing the 2023 U.S. Women's Amateur title while representing Team USA in three Arnold Palmer Cups and competing in five consecutive Augusta National Women's Amateur championships.

Schofill has also proven her ability to contend on familiar courses, posting top-10 finishes at the IOA Golf Classic in back-to-back seasons. After nearly claiming the title at Highland Meadows a year ago, she'll look to build on that success this week.

Megan Streicher

Megan Streicher, a 23-year-old rookie from Somerset West, South Africa, rolls into the Greater Toledo Classic with heavy momentum since opening her professional career a month ago.

Streicher closed her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina ranked eighth in the LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP), earning Epson Tour status for 2026. The rookie has quickly found her footing on the official Road to the LPGA, improving in each of her first four starts – from a missed cut in her professional debut at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship to finishes of T20, T6 and runner-up over the past three weeks.

A standout at North Carolina, Streicher graduated as a two-time Honorable Mention All-American and three-time All-ACC selection. She left Chapel Hill as the program's career scoring average leader while setting the school's single-season scoring average and 18-hole scoring records, finishing her collegiate career with 18 top-10 finishes.

The top 10 earn Category 9 status.
