The second round of the third annual Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf started at 8:15 a.m. local time after a 45-minute fog delay.

Annabelle Pancake-Webb posted the first clean scorecard of the day, finding an eagle, six birdies, and zero bogeys, to post an 8-under 63. Pancake-Webb is currently sitting in solo first place with a one-shot lead heading into the final round. The Clemson alumnae tied the 18-hole tournament record this afternoon, highlighted with a clean stretch of birdie, birdie, eagle on holes four through six.

“A really fun round of golf. It was great, commented Pancake-Webb, “I think I hit 17 greens. I chipped in with a wood from the side of a green. Everything was just going really well. I was striking the ball really nicely. I was able to make a few putts. I also had a great group, so we just had so much fun.”

Isabella Fierro fired a 6-under 65 and is sitting in a tie for second with Epson Tour veteran, Dorsey Addicks, currently one shot out of first place after the conclusion of day two. Fierro made seven birdies, finding five on the front nine.

Dorsey Addicks carded an 8-under 63 after sinking eight birdies on her second round. Addicks made three consecutive birdies twice throughout the round, on holes five through seven, and 11-13. She followed right behind Pancake-Webb, tying her with the low round of the day.

“It was just a steady round of golf, and I kind of stayed in my own bubble. I knew what I was doing, but didn't really pay attention to what I was doing,” said Addicks. “You know, the putts were just dropping today. I was hitting good shots, gave myself a lot of looks. So, I don't ever want to say 8-under is easy, but it felt pretty easy. I only had really one par save, and it was on the last hole.”

Kaitlyn Papp Budde is 7-under total, sitting in fourth place, after a 5-under round. Lauren Clark is sitting one shot back of Papp Budde, but is only through 16* holes of her second round, and needs to finish the last two holes on Saturday morning.

Round two was suspended at 6:15 p.m. due to darkness for all still out on the golf course. Round two will resume on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. local time, with the final round following immediately after.
