The final round of the Copper Rock Championship was yet another windy day on the links coming down the stretch on Saturday afternoon at Copper Rock Golf Course.

Fiona Xu started off strong with a birdie on the par-4 third. All while playing partner Maddie Szeryk-DiBello was putting on her own show, opening her round 3-under through her first five holes. Xu continued to sink deeper into the red draining birdies on holes five and nine to head into her final nine holes, 3-under par.

“It feels really amazing, pretty surreal, and it hasn't sunk in yet, but to do it again here is pretty special,” said Xu.

The 21-year-old began to feel the nerves, dropping a shot with a bogey on No. 10. However, the New Zealand native implemented her newly adopted mental cues to refocus. Xu sunk a birdie on 12 and another on 16, but once she knocked in her par putt on the par-3 17th, the Epson Tour champion knew she had claimed the title.

“I think it's more in the last two holes, specially making that par putt on 17, mentioned Xu. “I think, from there I kind of knew that I've pretty much won. That putt was really important and I'm really happy.”

Xu finished the day with a 4-under, 68, to separate herself by three shots from the remainder of the field to hoist her second Epson Tour trophy. The last time Xu won on the Epson Tour was in her rookie season, 2024, where she not only won the Copper Rock Championship, but set and currently still holds the Epson Tour 54-hole scoring record at 22-under par.

With this win, the New Zealand native walks away with $37,000 and 500 points which moved her from No. 131 to No. 12 in the season long Race for the Card.

When asked if she ever thought she would win again Xu mentioned, “Not really. I mean I struggled a lot so the past couple of months I've been working really hard to just trust what I've been doing and to see it being done this week it's pretty surprising to me but I'm really happy.”

Second place saw a three-way tie with Ashley Menne, Annabelle Pancake-Webb, and Maddie Szeryk-DiBello all sitting at 10-under par for the tournament.

Ashley Menne and Annabelle Pancake-Webb were playing partners and both fired rounds of 5-under, 67. Menne’s round was highlighted by four consecutive birdies on the front nine on holes three through six.

Pancake-Webb found seven birdies and two bogeys during the final round. Pancake-Webb had a successful West Coast stretch making all four cuts and recording two top-10 finishes. Although the Epson Tour is heading into a competitive break, Pancake-Webb is heading to New Jersey to begin prepping for the LPGA Monday Qualifier at the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefem.

Maddie Szeryk-DiBello was 4-under through her first 15 holes, but unfortunately a combination of the difficult tournament conditions and nerves got the best of the Epson Tour veteran. Szeryk-DiBello road the bogey train into the scoring tent, to sign for a 1-under 70, walking away with a T2 finish.

Players and the Epson Tour will now take three weeks off from tournament play with the next stop being in Marshall, Mich. at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship set to begin on June 12th.
