INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – September 29, 2026 – The Epson Tour, the LPGA's official qualifying tour, announced today that the City of Indian Wells has extended its presenting sponsorship of the Epson Tour Championship for three additional years, running through 2027-2029. Indian Wells Golf Resort will continue as host site for the Championship throughout the extended term.

The renewed partnership between the Epson Tour and the City of Indian Wells builds on a well-established relationship and introduces several new enhancements designed to elevate the player and fan experience at the Tour's season-ending event, which determines the Epson Tour's annual Race for the Card and awards LPGA Tour cards to the top 15 finishers.

Beginning in 2027, the enhanced partnership will bring several new benefits to the Epson Tour Championship:

Complimentary Hotel Rooms for Players

The City of Indian Wells' sponsorship will provide a complimentary hotel room for every player in the Championship field at one of the resorts within the City of Indian Wells during tournament week, easing the cost of competing in the season's culminating event.

Live Streaming of Final Rounds and Card Ceremony

Starting in 2027, the Epson Tour will live stream the final two rounds of the Championship, as well as the Card Ceremony, annually — giving fans, families and the golf community expanded access to the conclusion of the Race for the Card and the presentation of LPGA Tour cards to the season's graduates.

New Champions Dinner

The Epson Tour will introduce a Champions Dinner, to be held annually at Indian Wells Golf Resort during Championship week. The event will honor all tournament winners from throughout the season leading up to the Tour Championship, celebrating their achievements ahead of the year's final event.

Indian Wells Golf Resort has played host to some of the most dramatic finishes in recent Epson Tour history. In 2025, Anne Chen closed out the Championship by forcing a five-hole playoff against Sophia Schubert before claiming the title, capping a tense final round with one of the longest playoffs in recent Tour Championship history. The year prior, in 2024, Heather Lin authored one of the great Race for the Card comebacks, entering Championship week ranked No. 54 in the Race for the Card standings and climbing inside the top 15 by the final putt to clinch her LPGA Tour card — a reminder of just how much is on the line during Tour Championship week at Indian Wells.
