BEAUMONT, Calif., (April 14, 2026) — The Epson Tour announced today that the City of Beaumont has increased its investment in the 2026 playing of the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, expanding tournament week programming and community-focused initiatives.

As part of its expanded involvement, the City of Beaumont will continue supporting key tournament week initiatives, including the Council Cup — an in-event competition within the pro-am that brings together municipal leaders from across the region.

The Council Cup features friendly competition between city council representatives from Beaumont and neighboring cities, who team up with Epson Tour professionals during the pro-am. The event highlights regional collaboration and community pride throughout tournament week.

A City of Beaumont representative will also participate in the championship trophy ceremony on Sunday, helping award the title and celebrate the tournament’s next rising star.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the City of Beaumont to welcome visitors and showcase everything that makes our community special,” said Mayor Jessica Voigt. “From our beautiful surroundings to our strong sense of community, we’re proud to host the Epson Tour’s IOA Championship again and share Beaumont’s hospitality on a larger stage.”
