The final round of the Reliance Matrix Championship presented by Epson was yet another record-breaking day coming down the stretch on Sunday afternoon at Spanish Trail Country Club.

Cholcheva Wongras started off strong with a birdie on the par-4 first. Playing partner Mariel Galdiano was putting on her own show, opening her round 3-under through her first six holes. Wongras continued to sink deeper into the red draining back-to-back birdies on holes four and five to head into her final nine holes, 3-under par.

“It's amazing, expressed Wongras. “These four rounds are the most incredible round of golf I've ever played, especially on the second day. It was crazy. So, I think, there was a lot of work that we put in to get here. So, it was really fun to see all the hard work pay off.”

The Epson Tour rookie continued to gain momentum knocking in a birdie on the par-5 11th, but unfittingly found her third bogey of the tournament on No. 15. However, the 19-year-old comfortably walked to the 16-tee box with a four-shot lead heading into the final stretch.

When asked about her eagle on No. 18, Wongras mentioned, “I didn't expect the eagle at all. My plan was going for it for in two so I was hitting my drive on the fairway, and I said I'm just going to stick to my plan and then I hit my three wood to the middle of the green and I make the long putt so I didn't expect that at all. 45-feet right in the middle of the green.”

Wongras made an eagle on the final hole to separate herself by five shots from the remainder of the field to hoist her first Epson Tour victory. With this win, the Thailand native not only walks away with $37,000 and 500 points in Race for the Card standings, but broke the Epson Tour 72-hole tournament scoring record by three-shots, previously held by Jaravee Boonchant and Auston Kim at 23-under par.

“It’s so cool, Wongras said joyously. “It's my best score of four rounds at all. So that was pretty cool.”

Runner-up Liqi Zeng carded an 9-under 63, to launch herself from T9 to solo second. Giving her great momentum as she heads into her U.S. Women’s Open qualifier early this week. Zeng fired seven birdies and one eagle on the day to shoot her personal best score for the second day in a row.

Mariel Galdiano will also be heading to a U.S. Women’s Open qualifier with confidence after securing her third top-10 finish of the 2026 Epson Tour season. Galdiano sank four birdies and signed for a bogey-free final round, to sit in solo third at 20-under par for the tournament.

Rachel Kuehn had a strong day on the links making seven birdies and recorded no fives on her scorecard for what she recalls as the first time in her career. Kuehn had an overall successful week ultimately signing for a 7-under, 66, to finish within the top five for the second consecutive week.

Players and the Epson Tour, continue their West Coast stretch as they head to Hurricane, Utah to tee it up at the Copper Rock Championship starting on May 14th.
