The Epson Tour has entered the final stretch of tournaments with three events left before athletes head to Indian Wells, Calif., to cap the 2025 Epson Tour season at the Tour Championship. Athletes will tee it up in Garden City, Kansas, this week at the 11th playing of the Dream First Bank Charity Classic from August 22-24 at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course.

2024 Dream First Bank Charity Classic Champion Kathleen Scavo is in the Field

The 2024 Dream First Charity Classic Champion, Kathleen Scavo, will be in search of her second professional win at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course this week. The Epson Tour veteran won in dramatic fashion last year after a six-hole playoff against five-time Epson Tour winner Daniela Iacobelli and will be looking to defend her title for the first time in her professional career. Scavo currently ranks 103rd in the Race for the Card standings as she is looking for her best finish of the 2025 season to help her climb the rankings in the last few events of the year to potentially secure her LPGA Tour Card for the 2026 season. Last year, the University of Oregon graduate posted 12-under for the tournament.

The Tournament Boasts an Iconic List of Past Champions

In its 11th year of competition, the Dream First Bank Charity Classic has seen an iconic list of past champions. Many have gone on to compete on the LPGA Tour, and some have been ranked the best players in the world. The likes of 2021 and 2023 winners Lilia Vu and Gabriela Ruffels, who are among the most famous of past champions, are competing on the LPGA Tour in 2025. Vu is a five-time LPGA Tour winner, including two major championships.

This Week Marks the End of the Second to Last Stretch of 2025

Athletes traveled from Oregon to Kansas for the Dream First Bank Charity Classic. So far, the 2025 season has seen 12 different champions from five different countries, as well as low scores and even some weather delays. After the Dream First Bank Charity Classic, the Tour will have two weeks off before heading South for two events: the Guardian Championship in Prattville, Alabama, and the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout in El Dorado, Arkansas.
