The Copper Rock Championship is just days away, the last of four tournaments on the Tour’s West Coast swing. Multiple athletes have found success out West and hope to wrap up the stretch with a win. If the fifth playing of the tournament is anything like the four before it, the week will be nothing but excitement for the athletes and fans.

Here are three things to know about the 2025 Copper Rock Championship:

Important Tournament Information

The Tour travels from Scottsdale, Ariz., to Hurricane, Utah, for another exciting week out West. Athletes will tee it up on Copper Rock Golf Course for the fifth year, competing for $250,000 and 500 Race for the Card points. The tournament will be played from May 15-17.

Tournament grounds are open to the public from 9:00 am-5:00 p.m. local time from Thursday to Sunday, with food Trucks open from 10:30 am -3:30 pm near 9 and 18 green. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased HERE. Additionally, there will be a Kids Zone at the 18th Green that will open from 1:30 pm-5:00 p.m. daily to all guests under the age of 18.

Two Past Champions Look for a Second Copper Rock Championship Title

Two of the four Copper Rock Championship winners will tee it up in the Beehive State in search of another trophy. Epson Tour veterans Savannah Carlson and Dottie Ardina have found success at Copper Rock Golf Course before, giving them slightly more expectation, but also a slight advantage compared to the rest of the field.

So far in 2025, Savannah Carlson has made four cuts in six appearances, earning one top-10 finish at the season-opening tournament, the Central Florida Championship. The 31-year-old won the 2023 playing of the Copper Rock Championship in a two-hole playoff.

Dottie Ardina, the 2022 Copper Rock Championship winner, has made two cuts in three starts in 2025, also earning one top-10 finish in those appearances. The Philippines native began her West Coast stretch with a T3 result at the IOA Golf Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, which would make a top finish in Hurricane, Utah this week a bookend story for Ardina.

The Tournament is Part of a Special Washington County Initiative

At the end of May 2025, Washington County will have seen a lot of professional golf played. The County will host three women’s professional Tours, including the LPGA Tour, Epson Tour and Legends of the LPGA Tour.

Copper Rock Championship at Copper Rock Golf Course – May 15-17
LPGA Legends Championship – May 22-24

The commitment the County has put into the women’s game deserves to be recognized, which is why the County Commissioners issued an official proclamation, making May 2025 Women in Golf Month in Washington County.
