INDIAN WELLS, Calif. — The Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells is through 54 holes, and the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA will head into its last 18 of the season on Sunday.

Leading the way is 19-year-old Yana Wilson, who has already picked up two wins this year and currently sits at No. 2 in the Race for the Card. A win would give her a strong chance to lock up Player of the Year and Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year honors after her 6-under 66 in round three.

Wilson will be competing as a rookie on the LPGA Tour in 2026, already locking up a card after her win at the Dream First Bank Charity Classic. If Wilson were to go on to earn both Player of the Year and Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year honors, she would be the first athlete to do so since 2016, when Madelene Sagstrom took home both awards. A win would also see Wilson surpass Sagstrom in single-season earnings, with $196,602 in official money in 2025.

Sophia Schubert will be playing alongside Wilson in the final pairing in the season’s final round. Schubert opened her tournament with an 8-under 64 and held the lead after 18 holes, following it up with a 3-under 69 in round two. A 5-under 67 moved her to 16-under for the tournament and one shot back of Wilson, as she looks to track down her first win of the Epson Tour season and the second of her career.

At the conclusion of the Epson Tour Championship, 15 LPGA Tour cards will be awarded to the top athletes in the Race for the Card rankings. Despite 10 cards being clinched before the Championship, 59 athletes remained mathematically eligible to earn the five cards that were still up for grabs at the beginning of the week. Now, with only the top 60 and ties moving onto the weekend, 38 athletes are vying for the last five cards, making for a dramatic finish over the weekend.

Athletes who finish 11 to 35 in the Race for the Card will earn automatic entry into the Final Qualifying Stage of LPGA Q-Series, an expense that will be paid for by Seiko Epson Corporation. Additionally, athletes who finish 11 to 80 in the season-long points race will earn full Epson Tour status for the 2026 season.
