The second round of the tenth annual Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout started at 9:30 a.m. local time.

Laetitia Beck posted the first clean scorecard of the tournament, finding two birdies and zero bogeys, to post a 2-under 70. Beck is currently sitting in a tie for third place with Monet Chun and Gina Kim. The Canadian, Chun, signed for a 4-under 68 after sinking six birdies in round two. Chun made back-to-back birdies on holes 13 and 14 to post a 3-under 33 on her back nine.

Epson Tour sophomore, Erica Shepherd, also fired a 4-under 68 and is sitting three shots out of first place after the conclusion of day two. Shepherd made four birdies, highlighted by a birdie on 17 and an eagle on the par-5 18th.

Elina Sinz carded a 3-under 69 after sinking six birdies on her second round. Sinz made three consecutive birdies on holes four through six, her back nine. The Epson Tour rookie is T7, with Melanie Green, who needs to come back Sunday morning to finish round two.

Becca Huffer is 5-under total, sitting in solo first place, but is only through 14 holes of her second round. Liqi Zeng is in solo second, two shots back, but has two holes left in round two. Gina Kim is currently in a tie for third with Monet Chun and Laetitia Beck, but needs to finish the last two holes of her second round on Sunday morning.

Round two was suspended at 6:50 p.m. due to darkness for all still out on the golf course. Round two will resume on Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. local time.
