Melanie Green Reclaims No. 1 Position in Race for the Card Standings

The 2025 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout marks the last event before the Epson Tour’s highly anticipated Tour Championship. For the tenth year, players will tee it up on Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Ark., with the margins in the Race for the Card closer than ever.

The top-15 is as tight as it's ever been, with very few players shifting up or down in the standings as the Epson Tour enters a pivotal end to the season:

Sadie Englemann had the biggest move of the week, jumping 44 spots to No. 88 in the Race for the Card rankings after capturing a T7 finish at the Guardian Championship. Englemann shot 8-under for the tournament and secured her first top-ten finish of her professional career. The Epson Tour rookie has struggled this season, only making four cuts in 10 starts, and is looking forward to continuing her momentum at the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout.

Kaitlyn Papp Budde also moved up eight places after carding back-to-back 5-under rounds of 67 at the Guardian Championship. The University of Texas alumna now has eight top-10s in her young professional career, and finds herself sitting at No. 22 in the Race for the Card. Another strong finish this week can give her a good chance to potentially climb the ranks and earn her LPGA Tour card for the 2026 season.

Melanie Green has reclaimed her position at the top of the podium of the Race for the Card leaderboard following an impressive win in Prattville, Ala. The Epson Tour rookie had a difficult finish to her final round, making a 3-putt bogey on the par-4 18th hole, resulting in a sudden-death playoff against Gianna Clemente(a). Green left victorious after a five-hole battle. This marks her ninth professional top-ten and second Epson Tour win. The New York native has already officially clinched her LPGA Tour card for the 2026 season, but is looking to continue her momentum as she heads to El Dorado, Ark., for one of the last two events of the season.

Another standout performer heading into the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout is Isabella Fierro, climbing seven spots into the coveted top-15 and finds herself at No. 15 in the Race for the Card after the Guardian Championship. The Oklahoma State University graduate fired a final round of 65 to move up the leaderboard and finish in a tie for third. Fierro is entering this week looking for her third consecutive cut in a row as she prepares to compete in El Dorado, Arkansas.
