The Epson Tour is set to begin play for the fifth annual Copper Rock Championship tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. local time. Here are a few names to keep an eye on throughout the week in Hurricane, Utah:

Kaleigh Telfer

Telfer has put together two strong seasons in 2023 and 2024, finishing inside the top 30 in the Race for the Card in each of those campaigns. The 26-year-old has found herself in a rut as of late, making just one cut in her last five starts after beginning the season with a T14 result at the Central Florida Championship. She currently sits at No. 68 in the Race for the Card, but with it being so early into the season, she is just a strong finish away from finding herself in contention for an LPGA Tour card heading into the two-week break.

The South African has had past success at the Copper Rock Championship, finishing runner-up in 2024 behind Fiona Xu, who set the 54-hole scoring record. Telfer has had multiple runner-up finishes while on Tour, but hopes this is the week she can draw on past experiences and break into the winner’s circle.

Carla Tejedo Mulet

The Epson Tour rookie is off to a solid first season, currently No. 22 in the Race for the Card and entering the Copper Rock Championship off five consecutive made cuts. During her five-tournament stretch, she has yet to finish outside the top 25, with the worst result coming at the IOA Golf Classic presented by Aperture, where she finished T21.

The best result of her rookie season came at the Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf, when she carded a season-low 7-under 65 in the final round to move into the top 10, finishing T6. The Spaniard is no stranger to going low, posting three rounds of 66 or better this season already, two of which have been recorded in the past two tournaments. Copper Rock Golf Course can yield low scores, so keep an eye out for the rookie as the weekend rolls around.

Dottie Ardina

The 2022 Copper Rock Championship winner is back in the field for the 2025 edition, with Ardina looking to win the tournament for the second time. If she were able to pull off the victory, she would be the first player since Ruixin Liu at the 2024 Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic to win the same tournament more than once, winning the 2021 edition as well.

Ardina has only played three Epson Tour events this season, but currently sits No. 29 in the Race for the Card. A T3 finish at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa is the catalyst to her strong placing in the season-long point race, with Ardina only making one other cut this season. She will try to end her West Coast Swing on a high note this week in Hurricane, Utah, by adding another piece of hardware to her trophy case.
