The second playing of the Otter Creek Championship presented by Case Construction is set to begin Friday, June 26th, as the Epson Tour heads into the last weekend of the Midwest Stretch. With 10 events left to play in the season, here are some names to keep up with as they take on Otter Creek Golf Course.

Erika Hara

Hara enters the Otter Creek Championship presented by Case Construction off of three straight top 10 finishes, the best of which was a T2 result at the Great Lakes Championship at the Highlands presented by Johnnie Walker. Hara has yet to miss a cut during her rookie season on the Epson Tour and has the same number of over-par rounds for the season as top 10 finishes (5). The Japan native is also leading the Tour in scoring average for the year, with a 69.96, but has yet to capture her first win. If her game continues to click, it will be a matter of when she gets her first win, not if.

Amari Avery

Avery heads to Otter Creek Golf Course coming off her joint-best result of the season with a T4 finish at Sweetgrass Golf Club. The 21-year-old has played in nine events this year, missing just two cuts. Her three top 5 finishes moved her into the top 15 in the Race for the Card at No. 14. Avery has played well at some of the more difficult courses this year, and with only two players getting to 10-under or better in 2024, it could set up to be a good week for the Epson Tour sophomore.

Isabella Fierro

After a tough start to the season, which saw Fierro miss four straight cuts, the 2023 Epson Tour grad has found the game that helped her secure an LPGA Tour card. The Mexico native has not finished outside the top 15 in the last three events and secured her best result of the season at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship (T3). Since that tournament, Fierro has only recorded one round over par, yet still ended the week tied for 6th despite the off day. The 24-year-old is also a champion on the Epson Tour, having won the 2023 Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic. If Fierro continues to stay hot, expect to see her name near the top of the leaderboard come Sunday.

Laney Frye

Frye is having a strong Midwest stretch and will try to close it out with a good week at the Otter Creek Championship presented by Case Construction after missing her first cut of the year last week. The Island Resort Championship presented by Delta County Chamber is the only time Frye has not seen the final round on Tour this season. The week before, however, the rookie put in her best finish of the season at the Great Lakes Championship at the Highlands presented by Johnnie Walker with a T2 result. Frye is barely on the outside looking in when it comes to an LPGA Tour card, currently sitting No. 16 in the Race for the Card. Consistency has been the name of the game for Frye all season, and another week could see her move into the top 15 with just nine events to play.
