The Four Winds Invitational returns to South Bend Country Club this week, bringing with it a field full of rising talent and familiar names. The 2024 champion, Yahui Zhang, used her win last year as a springboard into the LPGA, graduating from the Epson Tour and earning Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year honors. Now, in 2025, some athletes who finished closely behind Zhang in 2024 look for redemption at South Bend Country Club, hoping to secure a win this time around. Whether it’s a player in the middle of a strong season or someone hoping to turn things around, the week ahead offers a chance to make a move in the Race for the Card.

Here are players to watch at the 2025 Four Winds Invitational:

Annabelle Pancake-Webb

Pancake-Webb enters the 2025 Four Winds Invitational carrying momentum and strong local ties. In 2024, the Zionsville, Ind., native recorded the lowest round during Championship Sunday, propelling herself into a T4 result, all while she was still an amateur. In her two starts as an amateur, Pancake-Webb found herself near the top of the leaderboard, adding a T13 finish at the Otter Creek Championship to her resume.

Now a professional and 2025 Epson Tour rookie, Pancake-Webb is looking to build off of her T4 finish from 2024 to boost herself up the Race for the Card rankings. The 23-year-old is currently No. 78 in the Race for the Card standings, looking for solid finishes in the last six events of the season to solidify her Epson Tour status for 2026, and even possibly earn her LPGA Tour card.

Lauren Beaudreau

Beaudreau is one of two athletes who has the slight advantage of knowing her way around South Bend, Indiana. A University of Notre Dame graduate, Beaudreau is no stranger to the area and has even played her fair share of golf at South Bend Country Club. During her time at Notre Dame, the now 24-year-old was a standout member of the team, holding the program record for lowest stroke average in a season (71.88).

The Illinois native also teed it up at the Four Winds Invitational in 2024 as an amateur, earning a T6 finish. Now a professional, Beaudreau is looking for another top result to propel her up the Race for the Card rankings and closer to achieving her dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.

Mia Hammond

As of late, amateur Mia Hammond has been the talk of the town. The 17-year-old fired off an impressive first round 66 at the Greater Toledo Classic hosted by Stacy Lewis, only to be bested by Epson Tour rookie Erika Hara by two shots. The second round was a different story, however, as Hammond took the lead at 10-under and never looked back. Championship Sunday saw the high schooler lift her first trophy on a professional stage, making her the eighth amateur in Epson Tour history to claim a title as an amateur.

The win in Sylvania, Ohio, earned Hammond an exemption into the Four Winds Invitational under the “Epson Tour Top-10 Previous” category, another chance for the Ohio native to test her game against some of the best women’s golfers in the world. With a win under her belt, the golf world will be watching Hammond to see if she can pull off back-to-back wins on a professional stage.

Anne Chen

Chen has found her rhythm lately, making all three cuts during the Northeast stretch so far. The Epson Tour sophomore will look to extend her streak this week at the Four Winds Invitational, going four-for-four before “Crunch Time” officially begins. Of those three cuts made, her best result was just last week, a T6 finish at the Greater Toledo Classic hosted by Stacy Lewis.

The 24-year-old has also had success closing out stretches, earning her only other top-10 finish (T7) at the Otter Creek Championship presented by Case Construction at the end of June. Currently No. 26 in the season-long Race for the Card rankings, Chen would benefit significantly from another top result, possibly pushing her into the coveted top 15 with five tournaments remaining on the schedule.
