The eighth playing of the Guardian Championship is set to begin Friday, September 12th, at RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill – Senator Course in Prattville, Ala., as they seek a new champion in this week’s special event. Here are some names that will look to add themselves to the list of 2025 Epson Tour winners:

Valery Plata

Plata is in her sophomore campaign on the Epson Tour and is currently ranked No. 16 in the Race for the Card standings. The Michigan State graduate is coming off a T14 finish at the Dream First Bank Charity Classic. Plata has secured five top-10 finishes and one win at the 2024 Florida’s Natural Charity Classic in her young professional career. The 24-year-old is confident as she heads into the Guardian Championship, where she finished T10 in the 2024 rendition, looking for her second win with only three attempts left in the 2025 Epson Tour season.

Jillian Hollis

Hollis is an Epson Tour veteran, playing her rookie season in 2018. The Ohio native has recorded an impressive 19 top-10 finishes and four wins throughout her professional career and is looking for a strong finish this week to work towards jumping in the Race for the Card standings, currently ranked No. 20. The 28-year-old has made nine cuts in 17 starts and won the Otter Creek Championship presented by Case Construction with a total combined score of 14-under par this season. Last season, Hollis finished T13 at the Guardian Championship and is looking for revenge in her alma mater rival territory this week. Prattville, Ala., marks the beginning of the final stretch of the 2025 season as the University of Georgia alumna is looking for her second made cut in a row and gaining back confidence to bring home her fifth professional career win on the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA as she gets set to compete in the Guardian Championship.

Gina Kim

Kim first joined the Epson Tour in 2022 and has already clinched her LPGA Tour card for the 2026 season. The North Carolina native has made 13 cuts in 15 starts this season, posting three wins, five top-10 results, and a low round of 64. The 25-year-old is returning to the Epson Tour after a few-week hiatus to take some rest and test her game at the highest level at The Standard Portland Classic on the LPGA Tour. She once again demonstrated how strong her golf game is and finished T11. Kim is at No. 3 in the Race for the Card standings and is eager to compete this week in Prattville, Ala., as every week is more important as she looks to climb the Race for the Card leaderboard and find herself back in the No. 1 spot in hopes of earning Epson Tour Player of the Year honors.

Carla Tejedo Mulet

Tejedo Mulet is in her rookie year on the Epson Tour and has continued to prove herself over the course of this season. The Louisiana State University alumna is coming off a month-long break from competing after finishing T28 at the Four Winds Invitational at the beginning of August. Mulet has made 10 cuts in 15 starts this season, with four top-10s, most notably T2 at the Copper Rock Championship and T3 at Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship in back-to-back events. The 23-year-old has not competed in a month, but remains at No. 12 in the Race for the Card. Another top finish this week at the Guardian Championship would put the Spaniard closer to locking up her spot in the top-15 and earning her LPGA Tour card for the 2026 season.
