Amari Avery

The Otter Creek Championship is Avery's second professional start. Fresh from completing her junior year at the University of Southern California, the California native transitioned to the professional circuit with ease. Her debut at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Battle Creek, Michigan, saw her make an impressive start, positioning herself near the top of the leaderboard early on. Although she finished in a share of 45th on Sunday, her early success is a clear indication of the bright future that lies ahead for her in professional golf. At USC, Avery's talent was recognized with finalist nominations for the 2022 ANNIKA Award and Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors.

Gabriella Then

Then has made four cuts in four starts so far in 2024, with a best finish of T23 at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. The 28-year-old graduated from the Epson Tour in 2022 and spent time on the LPGA Tour in 2023, with a best finish of T19 at the 2023 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei. The former University of Southern California Trojan has dual membership on both the Epson and LPGA Tours in 2024 but has decided to focus the season on the Epson Tour in hopes of returning to the LPGA Tour full-time in 2025. With another cut made and a top finish at Otter Creek Golf Club, she could propel herself up the Race for the Card rankings and be one step closer to returning to the LPGA Tour full-time.

Erica Shepherd

Shepherd, a 2024 rookie from Greenwood, Indiana, is a name to watch in the golfing world. After a stellar senior season at Duke University in 2023, Shepherd decided to turn professional. She made her mark on the Epson Tour, making three cuts out of four starts. Her best performance so far was a T23 finish at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship. Now, she's preparing for the Otter Creek Championship, aiming to build on her momentum. A strong performance here could open doors for her, potentially earning her a spot at the Island Resort Championship next week.

Amelia Lewis

With two top-10 finishes so far in 2024, Lewis is definitely a name to watch on the Epson Tour. The 33-year-old has made seven cuts in seven starts this year and sits at No. 25 in the Race for the Card standings almost halfway through the season. She comes to the Otter Creek Championship off a season-best 6th-place finish at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship and could find herself in the coveted top 15 with a solid performance in Columbus, Indiana. Since making her rookie debut in 2010, Lewis has earned 12 top-10 finishes but has yet to win on the Epson Tour.

Anita Uwadia

Uwadia also tees it up following a top performance at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship, a season best T2 finish. The 26-year-old has made five cuts in eight starts and, like Lewis, sits just inside the top 30 in the Race for the Card at 29th. The England native has earned three top-10 finishes since making her Epson Tour debut in 2020 and looks to add a win to her resume in 2024.

Dewi Weber

Weber who splits time between the LPGA and Epson Tours makes her first Epson Tour start in almost a month at this week's Otter Creek Championship. Prior to her break, the former University of Miami Hurricane was on a roll, earning two top-10 results in three tournaments. One of those results was her season-best finish to date, a tie for second, at the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in Tucson, Arizona. Currently positioned at No. 11 in the Race for the Card rankings, Weber has shown she's ready to make a return to the LPGA Tour. A strong finish this week could see the 27-year-old climb in the standings, bolstering her chances for a return to the big stage.
