Dottie Ardina splits time on the LPGA and Epson Tours this season but returns this week to tee it up at Copper Rock Golf Club to defend her title. Of the events on the 2023 schedule, the 29-year-old would be the first player to successfully defend on the Epson Tour since Marilyn Lovander won in 1994 and 1995 at the Twin Bridges Championship. Ardina has only made one cut in 2023, but she will draw on positive memories at the Copper Rock Championship to jumpstart her season.
Lindsey McCurdy performed strongly in the latest Epson Tour tournament, the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic. The T3 finish included four straight days of under-par rounds and a final round that saw her card eight birdies. So far, in 2023, McCurdy has made two out of four cuts but has been playing her best golf as of late. Another strong finish this week for the former Southern Methodist University Mustang would help her jump into Race for the Card contention.
Laetitia Beck started her season strong and has continued to get better with each event. Beck has not missed a cut this season, finishing T30, T29, T17, and T13 to start her 2023 campaign. The 2016 Olympian finished in a tie for second last year at the Copper Rock Championship and currently sits 25th on the 2023 Epson Tour Official Money List. With her game trending in the right direction and past success in Hurricane, Beck is a name to look out for this week at Copper Rock Championship.
