The Epson Tour tees it up for the inaugural Hartford Healthcare Women’s Championship at Great River Golf Club in Milford, Connecticut. The 144-player field will compete for $200,000 in a 54-hole stroke play format, with a cut being made to the top 60 and ties after Saturday's second round. “I’m hoping to learn many things but one of the things is learning about the tournament dynamics and understanding how a professional golf tournament operates as it’s my first professional event. I’m also just hoping to test my skills against the pros to see the level of play required to become a pro. It’s an inspiring experience as it will allow me to observe their skills up close and learn from their performance. I’m also looking forward to meeting and engaging with all these players.”
