Alena Sharp
A 17-year LPGA Tour veteran, Alena Sharp is on the hunt to get back to the big stage after finishing 69th at 2021 LPGA Q-Series. Sharp was a 2013 Epson Tour graduate and has a history at Longbow Golf Club, where she won the 2014 Visit Mesa Gateway Classic on the “Road to the LPGA.” The New Mexico State University alumna will look to rekindle the magic at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa for the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic from March 17-20.
Fatima Fernandez Cano
Perhaps one of the most consistent players on the Epson Tour over the last two years, Fatima Fernandez Cano has missed only one cut in her last 28 starts with 14 top-10 finishes. That run includes her first pro win at the 2020 IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. It’s no coincidence that she was an Epson Tour graduate in both 2020 and 2021. The Epson Tour ambassador—one of six in the field—brings her game to Mesa to prep for the next string of LPGA Tour events on the West Coast.
Sophie Hausmann
The Epson Tour winner started the 2022 season with a T53 performance at the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic. While she may be anticipating a return to Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, the site of her first win on the “Road to the LPGA” at the 2021 IOA Championship, Hausmann is one of the most focused competitors on the Epson Tour. The German finished in a tie for ninth at Longbow Golf Club for the 2020 Founders Tribute, and then followed it up with a T6 showing in the inaugural Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic last March.
