After the 16th tournament of the 2021 Epson Tour season, the Race for the Card rankings sees some movement following the Circling Raven Championship at Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, ID.
Maintaining the No. 1 spot on the money list is Lilia Vu (Fountain Valley, California). Last week she received news that following her third win this season on the Epson Tour, she clinched her spot in the top-10 and will graduate onto the LPGA Tour for 2022.
Staying at No. 2 is Ruixin Liu (Guangdong, People’s Republic of China) with $95, 281 in total earnings after claiming two wins and one runner-up finish this year. The 2021 Donald Ross Classic and Epson Tour Classic champion, Casey Danielson (Osceola, Wisconsin), checks in at No.3 the with $89,131.
“I’m excited about maintaining my position on the money list after a solid week in Idaho. It’s fun to see my name in the top-5 but I’m trying my best not to think about the standings during the tournament weeks,” said Danielson. “This year I’ve been improving my mentality by staying present and enjoying myself on the course, so I’m excited to continue to work on that during the last four events because I know I’ll be feeling some nerves.”
Fatima Fernandez Cano (Santiago, Spain) joins the group at No. 4 with $84,399 this season thanks to the help of eight top-10 finishes in 16 starts. Maude-Aimee Leblanc (Sherbrooke, Quebec) is just behind with $81,554, followed by Rachel Rohanna (Marianna, Pennsylvania) with $70,799. The 2021 Island Resort Championship winner, Morgane Metraux (Laussane, Switzerland) stays at No. 7 for another week with $65,189, while Allison Emrey (Charlotte, North Carolina) movies up to N. 8 with $64,731.
“I am very happy with my final round in Idaho to put me in the top five for the week and move up a spot on the race for the card,” said Emrey. “Still a long way to go with four tournaments left so focusing on having a strong finish.”
Rounding out the group is Amanda Doherty (Atlanta, Georgia) with $62,999 in season earnings and Copper Rock Championship winner Bailey Tardy (Norcross, Georgia) with $58,668.
At the end of the season, the top-10 players in the Race for the Card standings will graduate onto the LPGA Tour for the 2022 campaign.
