Competing in her fifth year as a professional, Katelyn Dambaugh (Charleston, South Carolina) found her way to a second round 5-under 67. The University of South Carolina alumna sits at 8-under par overall in Prattville, AL and is pleased to see her hard work moving in the right direction for the last stretch of the 2021 season.
“It went really well. I was patient, I tried to minimize my bogeys as much as possible, I only had one. And you know, I’ve just worked so hard the last month, and it’ finally good to see it pay off.” Said Dambaugh. “And you know, I’m hitting it my ball striking is great, like I’ve had three birdie putts just on the back nine, inside ten feet that I’ve missed. So, it’s like, it gives me just so much confidence going into tomorrow and then the last three events.
