Epson Tour rookie Ana Belac sealed a wire-to-wire victory at the Carolina Golf Classic presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina with a 2-over par 74 final round to finish at 7-under par overall in the Tar Heel State. It is the first professional win for the Duke University alumna.
Belac defeated Allison Emrey by four strokes and Lauren Coughlin by five, while Savannah Vilaubi and tournament sponsor exemption Emilia Migliaccio, a Wake Forest University senior, rounded out the top five just six shots back.
