Laura Wearn started the final round of the Epson Tour Championship in a share of the lead at the Tour's season-ending event. She closed with a final-round 67 in Daytona Beach to finish at 17-under-par, one stroke ahead of Janie Jackson, and back in the winner's circle.
The 28-year-old from North Carolina had 101 career starts on the Epson Tour with nine top-10 results, including when she became a first-time champion at the 2016 Gosling's Dark ’n Stormy Classic. With her win, Wearn jumps to No. 22 on the money list with $54,163 in total season earnings.
