Leona Maguire, Catherine O’Donnell, Sandy Choi

Last week Leona Maguire made her pro debut at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer where she finished T-15, this week she is making her first start on the Epson Tour. The recent Duke University graduate will play alongside former Tar Heel alum, Catherine O’Donnell and fellow Duke alum and former teammate Sandy Choi in the opening rounds.
O’Donnell will be making her third start in Decatur and looks to improve on her T-17 result a year ago. This week Choi will be making her first appearance in the Forsyth Classic presented by the Decatur Park District.
Laura Wearn, Nontaya Srisawang, Elizabeth Szokol
8:25 a.m. – 10th Tee
Laura Wearn has yet to win on the Epson Tour this season, but she notched her best result of the year, a runner-up finish, at the Valley Forge Invitational. She is making her fourth start in Decatur and looking to improve on her T-38 finish last year. Wearn is grouped with Nontaya Srisawang and Elizabeth Szokol in the opening rounds.
This week Srisawang plays with a bit more confidence after coming off a T-4 finish at the Four Winds Invitational. Volvik Race for the Card No. 2 Szokol arrives in Decatur already a winner in 2018 after winning the IOA Invitational; she has three top-12 finishes in six starts this season and looks to be the first to earn a second victory in 2018.
Chorphaka Jaengkit, Kelly Grassel, Marta Sanz Barrio
12:53 p.m. – 10th Tee
The defending champion Chorphaka Jaengkit headlines this group along with rookie Kelly Grassel and Spaniard Marta Sanz Barrio. Jaengkit comes to Hickory Point Golf Course with a lot of great memories from 2017, from her 66 in the opening round to her 70 in the final round to hold off Tiffany Chan and pick up her first career win.
This week, Grassel makes her first start in Decatur. Sanz Barrio is making her second start in Decatur and will be looking to improve on her T-8 finish a year ago.
Karolina Vlckova, Jenny Haglund, Carleigh Silvers
8:25 a.m. – 10th Tee
Karolina Vlckova makes her first start in Decatur after coming off a T-34 finish at the Four Winds Invitational. She will play alongside rookie Jenny Haglund and Carleigh Silvers in the first two rounds.
Haglund arrives in Decatur looking to become the first two-time winner of the season; she currently sits atop the Volvik Race for the Card standings. The Sweden native has put herself in contention on more than one occasion this year with four top-10s, including a win at the Epson Classic.
Silvers has yet to win on the Epson Tour this season, but she notched her best result of the year, a runner-up finish, at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. She is making her third start in Decatur and is looking to improve on her T-25 result in 2016.
