Manuela Carbajo Re, Celine Boutier, Sarah Schmelzel

Group 10 – 10th tee – 8:44 a.m.

Manuela Carbajo Re makes her first appearance in Garden City and is paired with rookies Celine Boutier and Sarah Schmelzel in the opening rounds. Fresh off a win at the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge, Boutier arrives in Garden looking to become the second three-time winner in 2017; she is currently second on the Volvik Race for the Card money list. This week, Schmelzel makes her first start in Garden City.

Hyemin Kim, Kassidy Teare, Christine Song

Group 13 – 1st tee – 9:06 a.m.

Hyemin Kim arrives in Garden City already a winner in 2017 winning the POC Med Golf Classic; she makes her third start in the Garden City Classic at Buffalo Dunes and looks to improve on her T-5 finish in 2014.

Kim is paired with rookie Kassidy Teare and Christine Song in the first two rounds. Teare has one top 10 this season and will be making her first appearance in Garden City. In 2016 Buffalo Dunes hosted the Epson Tour in back-to-weeks; Song has good memories to rely on this week at where she finished T-6 in week one and picked up her fifth career victory during the final week in Garden City.

Laura Wearn, Kim Welch, Hannah Green

Group 14 – 10th tee – 8:36 a.m.

Laura Wearn makes her fourth start in Garden City and looks to improve on her missed cut in 2016. Wearn will play alongside Kim Welch and Hannah Green on Friday and Saturday.

Welch is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge and looks to build on her solid play in Sioux Falls. Green has eight top 10 finishes including a win at the Sara Bay Classic; she’s making her first start at this week’s Garden City Charity Classic.

Samantha Richdale, Caroline Inglis, Katelyn Dambaugh

Group 31 – 1st tee – 1:24 p.m.

Samantha Richdale is coming off a seventh-place finish in Sioux Falls and looks to build on her solid performance. She is paired with rookies Caroline Inglis and Katelyn Dambaugh in the first two rounds.

Inglis has two top 10s this season and will be making her first start in Garden City. This week, Dambaugh makes her first start in Garden City. In eight starts this season, Dambaugh has four top 10s and one missed cut; she currently sits 16th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.

Benyapa Niphatsophon, Grace Na, Rebecca Artis

Group 37 – 1st tee – 1:57 p.m.

Benyapa Niphatsophon added the sixth runner up finish to her resume at the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge and has mathematically secured her LPGA Tour card for the 2018 season. With another solid performance, the Thailand native moved into the No. 1 spot on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.

She is grouped with Grace Na and Rebecca Artis in the opening rounds. This week, Na makes her first appearance in Garden City. Artis has two top 10s this season and will be making her second appearance in Garden City where she finished tied for second in 2014.
