Erynne Lee and Yu Liu will share the lead at 9-under par entering the final round of the Tullymore Classic.

“It’s been a lot of steady play,” Lee said of the key to her success this week. “I’ve been hitting it very consistently. Hitting it down the fairway and hitting greens. When I was off the green I’d get up and down and making some clutch putts here and there.”

Lee, who tallied six birdies against a lone bogey en route to a Saturday 67, will be looking for her second Epson Tour victory of the season tomorrow.

“Slow and steady wins the race,” Lee said of what she learned in her victory at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. “It’s just going out there and playing your own game. It’s just golf and it’s just a game and we just go out there to have fun and hope for the best.”

Liu, who shot a 4-under 68 today, finds herself in the mix despite admitting to not having her best stuff thus far this week.

“Honestly, I’m not feeling really well about my ball striking this week but my putting has really pulled it off for me,” Liu admitted. “Yesterday, I scrambled really well and had two chip-ins. Today I eagled No. 10 which was nice.”

Perhaps the key for Liu was some advice she got from her friend Pieyun Chien, who finished tied for second at last week’s Island Resort Championship, during a practice round.

“Earlier in the week, my friend Pieyun Chien she helped me a lot on the course,” Liu said. “She did really well last week and then she was kind enough to give me a lot of tips on strategy and mental approach so I think that helped a lot.”

Looking to chase Lee and Liu down in the penultimate group will be Emma Talley and Carleigh Silvers who sit one and two shots back respectively. First round leader Paola Moreno is three back at 6-under after a second round 74. She will be joined in her group by Pavarisa Yoktuan.

63 players made the cut at 3-over, 147.

The final round will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday with the leaders teeing off at 12:40. Play is expected to conclude at approximately 5:00 p.m. with a trophy ceremony on the 18^th green.
