Just like Minor League Baseball’s job is to breed the next Madison Bumgarner or Mike Trout, the Epson Tour’s job is to produce the next LPGA Tour winner. This weekend, Mi Hyang Lee captured her first LPGA Tour victory in a five-hole playoff at the LPGA Mizuno Classic.

Lee played in 14 events on the Epson Tour in 2012 and produced a win, a second place finish and four total top 10 results. She ended the year sixth on the Volvik Race for the Card money list and earned her LPGA Tour card in 2013.

Lee is a rising star on the LPGA Tour. She is only 21 years old and already has four top 10 finishes and currently ranks 23rd on the CME Race to the Globe.

Of the 30 events on the LPGA Tour in 2014, a player with Epson Tour ties has won 14.
