13. Molly Aronsson – Aronsson recently won the Island Resort Championship in Harris, Michigan. She rose to the occasion in difficult conditions and topped her college teammate Sadena Parks by one shot to jump from 117th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list to 13th.

To say it was a breakthrough win for Aronsson is an understatement. She had missed seven of the last ten cuts entering the event.

Aronsson was a four-sport star in high school and never really specialized in golf until her days at Washington. She also played soccer, softball and was a hockey goalie. She grew up in Shelburne, Vermont where hockey is king. She even made a select state hockey team when she was 13.

In her first three years on the Epson Tour, she never finished better than 78th on the year-end money list.

Now, in her fourth-year on the Epson Tour, she has a chance to squeeze inside the top-10 with a few more strong finishes.

14. Sadena Parks – Parks recently finished solo second at the Island Resort Championship. She had a one stroke lead with two holes to play but made back-to-back bogeys on the final two holes and finished one back of Aronsson.

Parks made a significant jump from 47th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list to 14th.

She is a dynamic athlete – very similar to Aronsson. It seemed only a matter of time before she strung together strong finishes.

In her last three Epson Tour events, she has finished 17th, 11th and second.

After finishing third at the Visit Mesa Gateway Classic, the first event of the year, Parks hit a rough patch and missed the cut in three of the next six events she played in.

Now, she has found a rhythm and is in striking distance of the top-10.

22. Daniela Iacobelli – We all know what Iacobelli did in 2012 when she went from 22nd to fifth on the money list by winning the Daytona Beach Invitational and she got her LPGA Tour card.

Can she do it again?

After nine events this year, Iacobelli was 59th on the money list with just two top-30 finishes.

In her last four events, she has finished second, T21, T12 and T25 and now ranks 22nd on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.

Iacobelli has the experience of needing to play well down the stretch and also has the experience of playing on the LPGA Tour in 2013.

25. Madison Pressel – Sometimes it takes just one week to get back in the mix. Pressel won the Decatur-Forsyth Classic and jumped from 110th on the money list to 17th at the time.

Since her win, she missed the cut at the Four Winds Invitational and finished T44 at the Island Resort Championship.

After the Decatur event, Pressel said that she feels like she’s playing the best she has since she was named the Big 12 Player of the Year at Texas.

Pressel is just a rookie on the Epson Tour so we’ll see how she performs down the stretch with a lot at stake.

27. Caroline Powers – She has only missed two cuts this season and has finished inside the top-35 in five of her last six events including a tie for fourth at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship.

Powers is a virtual rookie on the Epson Tour (just two events last year).

She was an absolute star at Michigan State – three-time Michigan State Female Athlete of the Year.

She ranks third in greens in regulation (76%) so the birdie chances will be there down the stretch of the season.

34. Therese Koelbaek – She’s been near the top of the leaderboard several times this year. It may take a win or a few top-5 finishes to get inside the top-10, but Therese has proved that to be in the realm of possibility.

Koelbaek finished T4 at the Guardian Retirement Championship at Sara Bay and T5 at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic.

She also recently finished T14 at the Island Resort Championship.

It will come down to consistency for Koelbaek – who is returning from a back injury a year ago.

The Epson Classic is a perfect example of what she is capable of in a good way and a bad way. Koelbaek fired a 5-under 67 in the first-round and was the leader after 18 holes. Then, she faltered the final two days (78-74) and finished in a tie for 46th.

She has the game to win; she has made that clear this year.

47. Cheyenne Woods – After winning the Volvik RACV Australian Ladies Masters (LET), the expectations were high for Woods in her first year on the Epson Tour.

She has one top-10 finish and has made the cut in every event she has played.

Woods missed the last two events in South Bend and Harris.

Her best finish of the year, a tie for fifth, came at her last event at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic.

In fact, she has finished inside the top-30 in five consecutive events.

52. Becca Huffer – Remember the sponsor exemption at the first event of the year that finished in a tie for third? Yes, Becca Huffer got reshuffled and has now played in six straight events.

She has four top-35 finishes since the reshuffle including a tie for 14th at the Epson Classic.

Huffer finished in a tie for 19th at the Four Winds Invitational in South Bend. You might call it luck of the Irish for the former Notre Dame golfer, but Huffer has proven time-and-time again that she can compete. She shot a 4-under 68 on the final-day.

Finishes like that give you the feeling that she has a shot.

53. Garrett Phillips – She is an interesting study on the ebbs and flows of golf. She missed the cut at the Island resort Championship and finished T12 the week prior at the Four Winds Invitational.

Three weeks ago, she missed the cut at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic. The week prior, she finished eighth at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship.

She is a long hitter (seventh in driving distance on Tour – 256.371) and maybe that helps her down the stretch of a long grueling season.

The 27-year-old has experience in her corner. This is her fifth year on the Epson Tour with six career top-10 finishes.

70. Shannon Fish – The start to the season wasn’t great for Fish. She missed four of the first six cuts.

Things have turned around lately in part due to a T5 finish at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic. She also finished in a tie for 25th at the Island Resort Championship with her mother as her caddie.

She has had flashes of brilliance like her first-round 3-under 69 at the Island Resort Championship or her 3-under first round at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic.

The problem has been the second-round. She shot a 7-over 79 in Harris and a 1-over 73 in Decatur.

She has the Texas Longhorns diploma working on her side. Two Longhorns, Madison Pressel and Nicole Vandermade, have already won on Tour this season.
