  • Where did you first learn the game of golf and who taught you?

I learned the game of golf in Sweden and my family first got me in to it. I was about 5 years old when I first started.

  • When did you realize golf was something you wanted to pursue as a career?

When I was 12 years old, I got to attend to Annika Cup, which is a golf camp for girls between the age 12-15 in Sweden. That was the first time I got to meet Annika Sörenstam and shortly after that I realized that I loved competing and wanted to pursue golf as a career.

  • Who has been your biggest supporter throughout your career?

My family and coach since I was 11 years old has always been very supportive of me. But I think that my brother Adam has always been my biggest supporter through everything. He is a very good golfer himself and understands the pressure and different feelings that the tournaments and everything around it can bring.

  • How does playing on the Epson Tour help you prepare for the LPGA Tour?

Playing on the Epson Tour helps me prepare for the LPGA tour in so many ways. All the planning, traveling, managing your time on and off the golf course etc. It also prepares you by playing so many tournaments and allowing you to figure out what kind of schedule works best for you and your body.

  • What is the biggest obstacle you have overcome that helped you become the person you are today?

I had a very tough 2021 season and I did not enjoy playing golf. I was scared of hitting the golf ball and it got to a point where I played with my eyes closed during tournament rounds. It was very challenging to go through this especially while being on the LPGA Tour and fighting to keep my card. It was a long road back to where I am with my golf game today and I am so thankful for my family and support team that helped me through it.

  • What advice would you give to the next generation of girls in sports and/or in life?

To find a good support team that can guide you during tough times and to always work hard and believe in yourself. There is always something good coming out of the tough times.
