CHIEF BUSINESS AND OPERATIONS OFFICER JODY BROTHERS BIO

Jody Brothers was named Chief Business and Operations Officer of the Epson Tour – the official qualifying tour of the LPGA, effective January 9. Brothers oversees the development of the Epson Tour's strategic plan, budget, sales, marketing, owned events, corporate sponsorships and tournament partner relationships, while also identifying new tournament opportunities.

Prior to joining the Epson Tour, Brothers served as the Vice President of Business Development for the PGA Tour. In this role, he led his team in identifying, pitching and negotiating multi-year title sponsorships and official marketing partnerships, navigating elements including league rights, television and digital media, player sponsorships, and investment in local tournament assets such as hospitality and on-site branding.

Brothers held various leadership roles during his 16 years with the tour, also serving as the Vice President within the Office of the Commissioner, Senior Director of Tournament Business Affairs for the Korn Ferry Tour and Executive Director of The First Tee Campaign for 10 Million Young People.

Early in his career, Brothers founded and operated Uptown Golf Company in Dallas, where he conceptualized, funded, launched and ran all operations of the golf-related e-commerce sites JustGolfBags.com and e9.golf. He began his career in the industry as a Golf Professional at Butte Creek Country Club, Mount Shasta Resort and Canyon Oaks Country Club in Northern California, while playing as a professional on various mini tours throughout the U.S.

Brothers played collegiate golf at California State University, Chico while completing his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Marketing. The California native now resides in Florida with his wife, Kerry, and three awesome dogs, Piper, Tripp and Griff.
